I was curious as to the average time I should expect my new water monitor (about a month old/aquired a week ago)to acclimate to it's new home before beginning any kind of routine handling, without prematurely stressing it out? For an example, should I wait until it's comfortable enough to stay outside it's hidespot when it sees anyone? A 'tame'(with respect) animal is of course an anticipation worth waiting (and working) towards, but ultimately I want it to be happy and feel secure.
FYI- feeding has been daily and robust and enclosure details/requirements seem to be right on (per Proexotics caresheet specs).
