Hard to tell for sure but my guess would be that it isn't an Acanthosaura. I am guessing possibley Japalura. Here' a pic www.froggieb.com/Reptiles/TempPictures/JapaluraSpendida.JPG

If this is what you have do a search on the old posts as there are a few here and I think there was someone doing a web page on them.
