I think beetles have a very tough exoskeleton and wouldnt be a good idea for feeding your beardie.

sydney loves eating mealworm beetles. in the past i might give her 3-4 every other week or so. one day i had alot of mealworms turn to beetles, so i let her eat about 10. the next day.... well, lets say when she "passed" them, they didn't look competely digested. as mentioned in the previous reply, the tough exoskeleton is not recommended! i haven't fed her any since! if i do ever feed them to her in the future, i will limit her to 1 about every 2 weeks. it will have to be her "candy".
