nature zone appetite plus.....has anyone used this?

delacrooshweez Jan 07, 2004 06:33 PM

I am having trouble with my spotted python to eat so people have suggested lizard scented pinkies...when i went to buy lizard maker, the person at the pet store told me id be better off with this nature zone appetite plus vitamin solution and plus it was cheaper..about 6 dollars for a small bottle...i was just wondering if anyone has used this before and if it works?..she told me to put about 2-3 drops in my snakes mouth every day for about a week or so, and it should make an attempt to eat...if anyone has used this, please let me know if it does the trick or if there are any dangers with using it...thanks.

I gotta say this sounds pretty goofy to me. Give him a few drops of wonder vitamins, and the snake will eat? Doens't make alot of sense to me. I would make sure all of the husbandry points are met...heat, humidity, cages size etc. Your on the right track it sounds like. use a lizard scented pink, or even a lizard to get him eating.
