Who has the best deals on Reptariums & scales?

DragonZ Jan 07, 2004 07:04 PM

I'm planning on buying tonight and thought some of you may have already compared prices online. I'm looking for a Reptarium w/ liner and a scale I can monitor growth with.

Thanks!

Check their ebay auctions as well... Do a search for Reptarium, and you'll find them.

right now too!

The reptariums are about $5-$10 cheaper and also they have 4.5 lb bag of Rep-Cal pellets for $12.95!

They do have great prices! I bought the cage and $100 of other stuff. The scale I bought on eBay - I got a $90 scale for $20 (Brand New).

I'm setting up a 2nd cage for our new female as everyone suggested. Family decision was to keep Rex rather than sell him to my buddy who desperatley wants him. So,,, if you have any breeder recommendations I can pass them along to him - he is ready for his 1st B.D.. He wants one that will get BIG (I explained that most of that is up to who well he sets his environment up and feeds him) & he doesn't want a NORMAL.

THANKS!

Just make sure you can retain the heat in the reptarium and make sure that it isnt next to anything that can dramatically alter the temp in the tank. I remember reading a post on someone sliding plexi glass (that you could find at like home depot) between the screen and the framing. I kno the reptarium looks nice and very affordable, but there are cons to every product

Good advice re: the cons to Reptariums.

Another trick is to buy additional liners and put them on the sides/ back - whatevers needed to regulate temps. This is my 2nd & I have a unique situation, I will be putting it inside a built-in bookcase so there's no draft problems.
