? about fedex losing my mealworms....

Sara2 Jan 07, 2004 08:04 PM

I ordered some mealies last week and they were 2 day overnight and should have been here last wednesday. Well around 7 pm last wednesday when it haden't arrived I went and tracked it and it said it had been delivered???//. Well I went outside searched my yard and my neighbors yards and found no package. So I called fedex and they were like well it was left on your pourch, I said not my porch obviosly. So they said they would call back friday since thursday was new years, but they didn't so I called again that evening, next day same thing, haven't talked to the driver. So they finally called back yesterday to tell me that it was left at my pourch the driver says so. Sigh....I told them it was not here, and that I serched everywhere. They where like well you will have to file a claim with the shipper, who when I first e-mailed them thak it wasn't here sent me the tracking thing saying it had been delivered.
Do I go through fedex to get my money back ot through the shipper?
I emailed the again shipper monday after they emailed me asking if I got it and that fedex said it was delivered and they haven't responed yet.
I know it must have been left somewhere and I am surprised anyone wounld want to keep it ,lol.

I don't know if I can answer your question, but I can tell you what happened to us yesterday. We ordered some crickets delivered yesterday through Airborne Express. The packages usually show up in the morning, but we hadn't heard anything by around 4pm when my wife received a phone call from some guy saying he found a box of crickets on his doorstep w/our address and phone number on it. We found out he lives at the same house address on the next street over. I can't figure out how they got the street names mixed up, but they do have the exact same numbers as we do. Luckily he brought them over and most were still alive. Not bad for around 25F.

Good luck and let us know what you had to do to get a refund. I'd think the feeder supplier would send another box if for no other reason than to avoid an unhappy customer/bad public feedback.
