water dragon help!!

herplvr2004 Jan 08, 2004 12:01 AM

My CWDs are digging into their gravel. What they do is they go to one side of the tank and press their face against it and start digging. The gravel is more like small river rocks so they cant really dig to far but does anyone know why they are doing this?

They may just be trying to get out. If your keep them in an aquarium odds are its too small, otherwise, females dig when laying eggs. If they are gravid you should be feel the smooth lumps in their sides. If thats the case they will need at least 18" of loose moist soil to lay them in.
