Bell line male pastel breeding a genetic blackback (PIC)

chrisssanjose Jan 08, 2004 02:38 AM

I'm hoping for some interesting offspring with this combo.
This female last year laid a decent size clutch for me, but
only one of the eggs was fertile (bummer!). However, when the
baby climbed out of the egg, it was a crisp little baby blackback!
So, I'm thinking this blackback is genetic, but would like at
least one decent sized fertile clutch of blackbacks from her
before stating with certainty anything about her genetics.
The male in the pic is 800g and the female ~2500g.

Hope you are all having a productive season so far.

Regards,
ChrisS - SanJose

I can't wait to see the offspring...........and buy one of the nice female pastels you will produce from this nice combo. If the pastels look anything like that blackback female you produced last year, they are going to be screamers! I can't wait for my pastels to be ready to go.
