Is this a Brazilian red tail?

Bezzerra Jan 08, 2004 08:09 AM

Someone gave this snake to my husband because he couldn't have it in his new apartment. Can you help me identify what kind of red tail he is? My husband thought he was a Brazilian but I did some research and those are really rare. What do yall think? (The light makes him look greener than he really is. He's more gray than what it looks like) I'll post a headshot in the next post.

Here's what his head looks like. Any suggestions?

a common colombian, but also looks to be either part Peruvian or part Brazilian...
that line in between his saddles and tail blotch area is a typical marking of many brazilians.
just my opinion..

.. yes, it is very likely a mix or possibly just an unusual common boa.

I've also seen lower quality arabesque or fineline animals with a little of those looks..
