I am deeply saddend to say that Peter Watson passed away yesturday, Pete is my dearest friend, i cant beleive that i am even typing this right now, he is one of the best friends ive ever had
Pete was a wonderful father, a teacher and a Christian. He was a mentor and great friend, teaching me much of which I know. I first meet Mr. Watson right here on the boa forum in 1998. He posted pictures of his stellar animals that made your jaw hit the floor. Without a doubt, he had THE best collection of Boa Constrictor Constrictor. After months of emails and a growing friendship, he helped me decide on what type of boas to get. I purchased my first BCC, a pair of Suriname Boas from Gary Sipperly. The rest is history as I am now a Suriname fanatic. I still have that pair of boas, through which I will always remember Peter.
Pete has never changed through the years that I have known him, and was always there for friends when they needed someone. His wealth of knowledge was amazing. He had a good heart, and his daughters meant the world to him. He will live on through his family, friends and animals. My sincere prayers and sympathy go out to his family.
Take Care Bro, You Will Be Missed

Wow, I can't believe this.... I just hung out with him at the last White Plains, NY show. He was a great guy. My prayers go out to him and his family.

ago about his S. Brazilian amarali. We had never talked before and it was like talking to an old friend. He was a very nice man. I will never forget his "jungle" classroom. God Bless.
