Proper setup for spotteds....

Would a cage with only 11.5 inches in height (3ft length and 2ft deep) be okay for a spotted?

That cage size is far more than enough for a spotted python. They're predominantly terrestrial, so cage height is not too critical.

I don't know how different Spotteds are from Children's but my three Children's are ALWAYS climbing.
That said I wouldn't want to overwhelm a new or baby with a monster huge cage.
My last year hatchling is just outgrowing her shoebox.
