I think this the proper time of year to start a thread on data accumulation...We all have differing theories about size, pattern and heritability, how about we put some of them to a test?? For instance, collecting EVERYTHING we can as far as hard data...avg brumation temp,locality,wc/cb, length and weight out of brum, size of male vs female, numbers of witnessed copulations, dates of copulation and laying, numbers of females served successfully by 1 male,eggs(good,bad,size/weight),incubation temps, hatchling weights/lengths,weights of females post parturation,etc....For those who breed milks as well I have a theory on redness vs blackness(I think it has to do with incubation temp).Anyway, you get the picture. None of us are re-inventing the wheel here and I really dont think there are any top-secret techniques left to be found, lol. I would just encourage using this forum to accumulate data that maybe someone can use...it is becoming much harder to find out anything "new"without the evidence being simply anecdotal. Anyway, post some followups if you are interested,Jeff
