Went to Memphis for the weekend and got to visit their Zoo. While there, a handler came up to me with a (about 6') P. m. lodingi. Dorsally it was normal (solid black) except right behind the head there were snow white scales encroaching from the throat up to the back of the neck. this started wide and then narrowed till there was a small break ( of about 4 scales wide in the white ring at the top. The veneer was white fronm the chin to about 6" down. There was no in between coloration; just black and white.
