Will Still and Keith "Milksnake" Hillson...

agalinis Jan 08, 2004 01:55 PM

Thanks for the compliment on the snake guys and for the input on the stool and probably lineage Will...I'm just glad it didn't pass through Hillson's legs... uh, I mean hands before I got it LOL

Man, those pics (especially the photo from Will and the second photo from Keith) look so similar that I'm going to dig up my contact in Tallahassee and attempt to find out where he got his clutch - I got them from him the same day he brought them in; in fact, I picked the cherry from the 3 he had before he even put them up for sale - when I first got it I posted a message on here saying how large (17" or so) the snake was at only one month.

Keith, do you remember a photo from 3 years ago on here where I was holding this snake up in the air wrapped around my hand? You asked me about the chain pattern because along one of her sides for the most part the chain is unbroken and it looks like a Goodyear tire or something. Anyway, that was the snake and I'll put up a pic in a few days of her at birth. I've got those on film so I'll have to scan them before I can post them; in fact, I'll put up your pics alongside those to show you guys how damm close they look - plus the guy who sold them to me said he was only able to get 3 of them although there were 9 to be had.

Will, "Bonkers" held her reddish-orange well into the 24 month period and now she's in transition like the snake in your photo - again the pattern and color similarity is striking to the point that it's now hard to believe the are not related.

Hey John

My orange male from Will Still has that stripe running down its side just above the ventrals just like yours has. Also my male has a pretty much black belly but his sister doesnt.

2003 female from Will Still

2003 male from W. Still brother to above female.

Its hard to see the stripe on the male due to the angle but it runs the length of him on both sides. Both of these are offspring of the pair of Will's I posted and a brother and sisiter to the female he just posted. Let me know when you find out some history on that crazy female.

Here is a pic by Kevin Enge of a 2003 male Eastern King he produced. This is from the same animals as mentioned. It shows the striping that you and I are talking about. I love this pic by the way maybe one of the coolest Eastern pics Ive ever seen !

Hi John,

Yes, let us know if you are able to track down the lineage of your animal. Thanks.

Will
