what are the more popular types of uromastyx (mali and niger?)and does anyone have a good care sheet specifically for them? i just saw a couple caresheets and they were for all uromastyx, so i'm guessing the care for all of them is the same? or not?

Malis and Saharans (Niger) are popular in the US because they are readily available and relatively inexpensive. Ornates are also popular, but they are more expensive. One specific care sheet for Malis is here:

i've been reading these caresheets but i don't see how many eggs they lay per cluth and how many times a year...anyone know?

The Best caresheet for uro's is at www.deerfernfarms.com and almost every uro has the same care sheet but this one explains them all in one but tells you the difference.
