Do you mind sharing the location? Are other lizards in the area similarly colored?

I live in Lake Marie Estates on the outskirts of Santa Maria (zip 93455) Ca. I had previously caught a male in my backyard with a fair amount of red on his back that I collected for Cal Poly (I was maintaining their reptile room at the time). I have a friend who's still working there so we're going to get them together sometime this summer. But, he doesn't have nearly as much red as her. A lot of the alligator lizards that I've caught in Santa Barbara county have been fairly colorful, but she is by far the best I've found.
