first i wanted to say thanks for putting your plans for the rat rack on here, i built 1 and it works great. how many rats do u keep in 1 tub i figured 1 male but how many female? right now i have 1-3 can i add another female or keep it the way it is. thanks again for the plans.

i run my animals in groups of 1.3 and have had nothing but good luck with it..

I suppose you could run 1.4 but the reduced cage space might inhibit them from breeding in the types of numbers we all like to see from our colonies.
