New Pit owner: Is this a Bull or Gopher

Hello,

I'm new to Pit keeping...and have lots of questions about our new snake, Slinky. I'll just ask one for now, though.

Is this a bull or gopher?
The person who donated him to the Botanical Garden (where I will be using him for education) says he's a Bull, but I really hope he's a gopher, since they're native to Phoenix. Can someone clear this up for me? He was found as a juvenile in Chino Valley, AZ (near Prescott).
(please excuse all the water spots on the glass-- his tank really is clean!)
