I have just added a pair of 03' Eastern Kings to my small collection. Quick question though, with the E. Kings, which ones are typically bigger is it the males? Either way i am pretty excited about my new pair. I've always been so stuck on boids, well they are great and i love my 2 BCI but man there are so many interesting, relatively inexpensive, smaller snakes out there. After browsing through the forums i became most eager and excited about the E. king snake. I know there are lots of eastern fans out there and thanks to you guys i was FORCED to go get these two newbies.

Congrats ! Today you are a man ...LOL Just kidding. Easterns are a great snake to keep. Not to mention once you get one pair you want more because they can vary so much . Take a look at my website (click on the logo below) and you will see what I mean.

Regards,

Keith

Looking at your site was what urged me to buy these guys. Great site! Now that i've had a few days with them it's getting interesting. The female is totally calm, the male on the other hand is full speed ahead and defecating all over my hands. The female is a more efficient hunter and eater, the male struggles to kill his pinky as quickly as the female. Cool!
