Soft Shell????

Shion Jan 08, 2004 07:06 PM

I have been reading the board on topics of soft shells in their torts which has me left with a question.I started checking out my tort and now I wonder if mine has what everyone is calling a soft shell or is it that he is just 3 or 4 month old.
How soft should it be at that age or should it be hard as a rock.

I don't know about a rock, but the shell on a tortoise should be plenty hard. Even the plastron should be, although not quite as hard.
