Albino acf not growing

darkclient Jan 08, 2004 08:24 PM

I rescued an albino acf from wasmarts in like september and he hasnt grown at all. I dont understand i have two other acf and they grew pretty fast. I feed him pinhead crickets and bloodworms. I used to feed him flakes until i found out what they did to the frogs. any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your frog is just developing slow. i have one that is developing so much slower than my other two. They are 6 months apart and the slow one has always been so much smaller and they are all female. My older two have stopped growing at 7inches and the small one is slowly catching up, she is at 6inches.
What do the flakes do to the frogs?

I hope you find a better answer than mine, but atleast your not the only one with a slow frog.

THe flakes are considered poor food becouse of no nutritionall value and i heard that they can bloat your frog. I dont know for sure though. He was doin fine with them.
