'miss floyd', my new 3+1/2ft blood.

borneoshankhdotz Jan 08, 2004 08:30 PM

she is breitenstein (sp?). malaysian. very tame and docile. captive breed in scotland. iv had her now for a couple of months and shes feeding good on large rats. dont have a clue how old she is or if she is pedigree or wot, guess she is almost reaching 4ft when straightened out now. am i right that she will most prob get to about 6ft or would 8ft be more likely if given adequate housing?
what are ideal temps for a blood like this??
daytime: 83-87, with hot spot of 95??
night: 70-75 +need a hot-spot also??
are their any good handbooks for bloods?, i have a corn and royal handbook.
Or any really good informative web sites?

thanks, any help on husbandry/maintenance etc is appreciated,
bz.

p.s many more (better) pics coming soon, she has a lengthy light stripe along the length of her back.

Shes a cutie. Your temps seem ok, but your hotspot doesnt need to be that hot. NERD has some great care info on their website.
