I noticed throughout the archives references to leos slowing down their eating during the winter. Just how much does their eating slow to? I have had my leos for 9 months now and they are fat and healthy. Before colder weather arrived, they all were very good eaters. Now, they seem to be eating about 1/6th of what they were a month ago. I have not noticed any visible weight loss, but they are less active. Otherwise, their actions are normal. Another thought...since there is less indirect light entering the herp room during winter, would a low wattage (15-25 watts) soft white light be a benefit for more 'simulated sunlight'? Thx! Rob R.
