We may hve a limited number available later this year. As far as I know Bob is the only person with them in the country, he sells them for $500ea. If there is anyone else out there with them please let me know I would be interested in some new blood.

I have found a few in Europe, but the cost is really high to just bring one or two here.

longer head shape and beard spikes, and the side spines are different. They come from the coastal west area of Australia and a small area that circles the inlet area of South Australia.

More commonly found in Germany than I think anywhere else outside of Australia, not that many have been brought into the US

I have some good pics of them I will email you

so easy to identify them and also able to identify ones thought to be pure vitticeps that are crosses.

After studying identification keys and information on taxonomy, I think they are a lot more crosses in the US than people think. This may also explain so of the dragons that are thought to be pure vitticeps, but look so different from others.

a month or so ago.

I don't know if you can check old classifieds and contact the seller to see where they came from.

It was of a solid black with yellow mouth and I believe that it was determined a barbata, really gorgeous. I thought that was the norm for them was jet black with yellow mouth? What about the p.mitchelli? Are there any pics of those guys out there?

This is one of Bob's males. Sorry for the poor picture quality. This was actually taken with a regular camera, not digital, and then scanned.

Is that thier normal color from the wild? What a beauty!! Also it appears they are a smaller breed. Or is that an adult?

How many have hatched now? How many eggs do you have?

Unfortunately it was an unexpected clutch that caught me off guard. Only 6 eggs survived and the 2 that already hatched were a little early. I dont expect the others to hatch for a few more days. The good news is I think the female may be gravid now, she has been gaining weight quite rapidly the past week but she is also a PIG so im not 100% sure yet.

Im not sure if thats typical color of most wild P.mitchelli. When I took that pic Bob only had them for a few months and said that when he originaly got them they were black. This male was the most colorful of the bunch but they all were very nice. That animal is an adult, they are a little smaller than vitticeps, I believe an average of about 12-14in.
