Go by the scientific name - Candoia aspera. In this case, that is definitely the better alternative to unstable common names.

Well it would be nice to know the name of the snake so when i look up care sheets on it I can find it easier, or if I am searching this forum I can identify what it is I am looking at.

While it would be ideal if everyone used the scientific name, they dont *lol* Especially dumb people like me... not to good with that stuff.

But after some more research I have answered my own question.

Viper Boa or a New Guinea boa

They are called Viper Boas. Sometimes come under 'Pacific Island Boa' etc.. but the general name is Viper Boa, because they look like a viper!
