before u glued the rock pieces into the cage did u paint them or something, or do they naturally look grey?

No paint involved at all. The grayish color is the color of the tile grout. You can get colored tile grout as well, (brown, white, sand colored etc etc) but it costs extra money. I went with a simple natural gray, then added sand on top of it to give it color.

Cool!!! between my hubby liking to build stuff and my mom always going 'sale-ing' (yard sales that is!) I should have a new enclosure this spring!! Im glad everyone is enjoying the effort and the tank! Spread the word so the website actually gets some use! o)

lola -- *laughs* Just keep emailing it to him until he brings it up to you. Then be like... oh what link??? OH no I didnt send that, but now that you mention it that would be lovely! Ill post pictures up of the UVB lights as soon as i get the pictures. And ill need to update the website with some small instructions as well. It involes slicing the wires on the UVB cord. Unfortuently that means cutting your nice light fixture cord, but its all good and easy and does not ruin it. Plus they are only $10 haha.

jawz -- Someone emailed me and asked me this as well. I have updated the website with this information and also with a close approximate price range to complete the cage.

If anyone has any more Q's in the future dont hesitate to ask!
