Paradox albino: what's the deal?

meretseger Jun 05, 2003 05:53 AM

Has this gene been proven genetic in hognoses yet?
If so, does anyone have any idea how it works?
I've got some paradox albino Kenyan sand boas and thought we could compare notes. Except I don't really have any notes. I'm just really curious about this trait.
Any info or wild guesses would be helpful.
I understand that the genes at work might be completely different in the two species.
(I am a hog keeper, but I doubt I could afford p-dox albino hoggies, I can't afford plain albino ones).

I did see that site, it wasn't made clear if he's proven it genetic or not. Maybe I'll e-mail him.

HI,
Chad Fuchs is breeeding the paradox now and trying to prove it out. Hopefully she'll lay a ton of eggs for him she's huge right now.
Thanx,
