have 2 FBTs (1m1f) - good or bad to add another? esp. if it's male

I've had 2 FBT's in a 10gal long for over a year now. I've had the female for about 4-5 yrs and the male for half as long. They are completely happy and healthy.
Problem is, I might be adopting another FBT, and I'm not sure on the gender yet. I forgot to ask.

Will 2 males compete over the one female? Compete for food?

my tank setup is large gravel with water unseperated with a Whisper filter, resin cast cave, two flat rocks and small live plants. there is still plenty of hopping and swimming space for one more.

Please give me your thoughts on the situation

from what i know, fbt's are communal animals in nature, so i would think that would be fine...
