I have had it from time to time. If I have something I long I want to type I open up Word or Wordpad and type it there, then when I am ready I will paste it into the message window and finish the post.

It is very annoying.

Melissa,
Thanks for the help thats what I'll do. It is very annoying since im a slow writer. All those edits to make sure I was getting my point across in the heated discussions about hybridizing darts.

Sometimes when I write a long post and then try to submit it, I get an error message. So what I started doing is to just type out my post, then highlight it all, right click, copy. That way, if I get the error message, I can just go back and paste it. Hope this helps.

It's because the forums log you out so damn quick. The session times out while you're writing the post, and then (for me at least) you have to type it in all over again.

Almost without fail, every time I want to post I have to log in. To me it's extremely annoying and causes me to post less often. This is by far the fastest board to log me out. I'm on a lot of video/computer game boards as well, and most of them will let you stay logged in for weeks at a time. They really need to lenghthen the time for the sessions. But I expect that will get fixed just about the same time as the search function will get fixed. IE the far side of never.

That might be a bit harsh, but it's been almost a year since they changed the forum setup and broke the search function.
