What station/stations are airing that show? Discovery? BTW, that's a great new photo for your web link, is that the NJ you posted a few days ago? Got any more pics of him? Either way, your site just keeps getting better and better!-Smokey
Its on The National Geographic Channel. Yeah thats my big NJ male. I will be giving the whole website a facelift and thats the start of my new logo for the site. There are about 5 pics of him in the NJ section of my site all of the Monmouth County (Freehold,NJ) pics except the female are of him. The female was paired up with him but she died when both were owned by Jonathan Wright in Canada. I get him in 2002.
I don't know if it's the same show you're talking about but there's also a snake special on the animal planet called "The beauty of snakes". It also airs Sunday at 8pm pst. The animal planet website has the listings.
I found the one you're talking about it's on the National Geographic Channel. The listings are also on the NG site.
but wasn't sure it was the same show. I thought it would have the same title as it appears on Bruce Means's website.."Apalachicola Kingsnake Adventure". Guess we'll have to wait and watch to find out if it will be the same thing. Can't wait!
It's gotta be the one on Apalachicola Kings. Although earlier on Sunday, there is another Snake Warngler's episode entitiled Diamondback Survivors - (Bruce Means). Wish they'd give a little info on each show on their online program listing.
I just found online info confirming that the show is called Saving the King of Snakes. Here's the link: (scroll down a little)

Man I can't wait!
Also the hour long EDB special "King Rattler" is on a couple of times this month as well .
I'll be watching it tomorrow morning at 9:30am. Wish they showed these on the basic cable channels so everyone could see them. I enjoy watching Corwin, O'Shea and some of those other shows but I really enjoy watching episodes dedicated solely to snakes. Especially when they're snakes you find in your own area. Also, I think they could easily have done an hour on the Apalachicola Kingsnakes...even two hours...but I'll take what I can get.
To bad we missed this showing by one hour. We freguent ANF several times a year now with some trips inclusive of several nights camping within. We are currently mantaining a small diverse group of blotched kings that consist of stock from several different breeders as well as one lone female WC found this past fall. Hope we will see are additional showings of this episode later in the month. We would also have had much more preference in watching a 2 hour episode on such but hope they are saving that for a complete episode to encompass the entire State of Florida. Maybe break down for us all the diverse kingsnake habitats that still exist. A good can start would be with Duval county as I have personally not been able to locate a king here in 3 years. I have posted the same on this for the past 3 years as well but to date I know of no one who has come across one as well.

A WC female? You never told me that in your emails. Can you tell me who found it, and when and where it was found? A picture would be nice too!
Hope we will see are additional showings of this episode later in the month.
If you check out the link I provided, it tells you other showtimes. I think it airs again next Sunday at 9:30am and then again a week later at the same time.

I agree. I could watch an all day event just on kingsnakes in Florida if anyone ever did that. Not sure why most/all of these Snake Wrangler shows are only 30 minutes long. They should be at least one hour.
