Hi, you won't be sorry, they are very enjoyable to watch, nice little lizards for sure ! And the people on this forum RULE, *SMILE*

This is a site of one of our buddies, Will Wells, lots of pics and info.

And the second has alot of good info also. Since you don't have any yet, it would be good for you to read some of these care sheets, to see what ya think !

Then if you have anything you want to ask, just shoot, someone here will answer.

Good Luck on your decision, heres the sites:

I dont know I read in driffrent sites that tell driffrent size cages like one site said for a single one it should be kept in a 60 gallon collaredlizard.com that one said a pair can be kept in a 20 gallon and kind of lights do they need

:0) Well you could put 1 in a 20 but a 30 would be better, always remember, when talking about their home, bigger is better.

They like to run and jump and tend to be very active.
As far as lighting you need to have a basking light, temp should be 100 - 105 sometimes in the summer mine hits 110 in the afternoon.

The cool side should be about 85 - 90, collareds like it hot !
And you need a UVB light so they do not get Metabolic Bone Diease.
