Should I raise the humidity on those eggs or is there anything I could do for them. They are in vermiculite slightly dampened.
It is not wet enough to get a drop of water out of it if you pinch it between your fingers you just feel dampness.
Maybe 1 part vermiculite to .8 parts water. I did this with a scale but the scale is a cheap one and may not be exactly accurate. Can that be the problem?
The temp is at a pretty constant 74F
The other 24 eggs are slightly plumper or larger than before.
The ones collapsing are the smallest eggs she hatched. They always seemed smaller than the others.
They are not completely collapsed just have a dent in them.
Is it likely these were not fertilized eggs?
Can you have some fertile and some not in the same clutch?
