This was posted before but I didn't get many responses. I just found a roll of unused linoleum in my basement. If I cleaned it really well, do you guys think it would be ok to use as a substrate for my leos?
Thanks

I'm going to say no. No matter how well you clean it, the geckos feet will not get much purchase on the slippery floor and they wouldn't be very happy. You'll also have a hard time I think keeping their belly temp at a good temperature. I wouldn't use it.

I sanded the surface down a bit so it would have more traction, and I also put my leo down on it just to test. She seemed to move around just fine on it. However, i'm not sure about the belly temp, as you alluded to. Maybe if I left a sandy area above the UTH?
