Barnecks breeding during warm up....

Yasser Jan 09, 2004 06:28 PM

This pairing is a VPI male (lighter one) to a very golden WC female. She's been in captivty since she was about 4 feet and is just perfect in every way. In the days prior to this breeding, she also seems to has some well developed follicles. If you look at the pic close enough, you can see what I mean, in her lighter areas (posterior half).
We've been warming back up for the last four days now, so hopefully she'll just go ahead and ovulate.
Our finger are crossed.

I only have one thing to say...

I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE. I also happen to know where you incubate the eggs, so I'll get a little one one way or another. It's good to see that girl finally fulfilling her "life's potential;" definately keep me and the rest of us up on how she does.

You are definitely first in line. But we still need to see if she ovulates! I hate even talking about babies when she hasn't even ovulated! It's bad juju!

Man, you need to sell me that female after this year. My new male would make some killer babies with that girl. Maybe we can work something out.

She isn't going anywhere for a while. This was her first year breeding so I don't foresee the need to part ways with her!
