leos in illinois?

StinaUIUC Jan 09, 2004 08:30 PM

Does anyone know if it's required to have a permit to own and/or sell leos in illinois? If it is, how much does it cost for the permit, and is the number of animals on it limited?

I have a friend in Illinois, and I'm pretty sure that you don't need any sort of license for harmless exotics. Some states have wierd selling laws, although he does sell herps and hasn't mentioned any sort of permit.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

Great! thanks! Here in jersey I have to have a hobby permit ($10) just to have them...and then if I want to sell them here I need a pet store permit ($100)!!!!! I think I'll just be selling them when I'm in Illinois!...lol
