Air Purifier........super long

rsalib Jan 10, 2004 05:24 AM

I've come to learn, that if you don't go top of the line, you really leave space for improvement that, sometimes, might be life threatening.

I now only use filtered or bottled water for my burm's misting system and water bowl. I have digital this and that thermometers/hygrometers/thermostats.

Now I have added to my room a Living Air Bora air purifier. I figured if she poops and pees in this small cage, and has to have my room/house, as her world the least I can do is make sure there isn't any pollutants in the air to risk any RI or anyother things caused by breathing in "bad air."

Just a thought, it not only helps your air quality, but if these and MOST animals' senses are way stronger and sensitive than ours, the least we can do is give them an environment that is worth living in.

I live in southern california, and if the weather outside is barely breathable, imagine the stuffy air in a home, or a locked room.

These are my words on that. And to share and recommend to buy a Living Air product.

Richard

ps

The guy I bought it from, had a few burms and other herps himself. Pretty cool.

I am in complete agreement with you. We use JWR air purifiers and have been very pleased with the results. We also use a special filtration system that takes out the chlorine gas but at the same time allows the important minerals and trace elements to pass through. But I can also say that some of my oldest snakes (some in their 30's/40's) have had NOTHING but good 'ol tap water their entire life. But all things being equal, if you have the resources to implement a good air purifier and water filtration system, it certainly can't do any harm and may improve the overall health of your snake.
