There are books...but they are outdated...
or they have a variety of species crammed in one like the anoles, water dragons and basilisk books...3 completely different lizards.
The books are ok, for the pictures but the info is usually outdated.

YES, very recommandable and upt to date knowledge and Experiences:
Wasseragamen und Segelechsen, 2nd edition by Heiko Werning.
Sadly this one is only available in German.
