should a snake look skinnier when it is going to shed, and if you can tell it is going to shed should you still feed it or wait until it is done shedding

oh yeah he isnt shedding he is just the skin is getting duller in color... sorry dont know how to describe it, it isnt as shiny any more

and I try to wait, because I have heard of sheds getting stuck on the mouse bulge and also if you have to help your snake shed and he has just eaten, then you risk a regurge.
