well after some of the coments you made above im not sure if i should help but. is he keeping his mouth open alot like he is gapeing? or is it just open a little? also try getting a beter thermometer.what kind are you using now? i swear by the digital ones you can buy at walmart and home depot. try lowering the basking spot(not just the temp but the stick or whatever he perches on.) and try using a lower wattage bulb.

I dont need your help, its all good now.
I found a better board that actually helps eachother and doesnt have 12 year old kids with iguanas who dont know anything.
I solved my problem and its all good now, the problem was the temp was a little too hight, but I corrected the problem and my baby didnt have open mouth while basking in 2 days.

Personally I think it would be better if he left. Nothing personal against him, but he doesn't have any possitive input. Like when Orca posted a picture with a problem and Skyline made the photo shop comment. What is that?! If you don't have any constuctive information then don't bother posting. Skyline which message board have you moved to?I've searched a lot of different ones before I stayed with this one. I've read and watched this board for 4 months before I even signed up and posted. I learned that the people in the message board are extremely knowledgable and helpful. And there are a wide variety on here ,from the professional all the way to the beginner. all of which posted respectfully and with a true concern for Iguanas. Good luck with your new "better" message board... Maybe your info/ advise/ CRITISISM will be better suited for them. Thank you.
