My story
I got mine from petco as a gift in fifth grade for getting good grades. I originally started with 2 but one died from prolapse. They were about 3.5 inches each. I then kept the one alone for about a half a year and it look lonely, so I tried to introduce another one. Since at that time I didn't know how to sex them or the need to quarintine, I ended up buying another male which I was told was a female. When i took him out of the bag it bit me, then when I put him in he started bothering my original gecko. Then my gecko bit off and swallowed his tail. I ended up returning it. 4 years later I got him and female, and a couple months after that i got him another one. Just 2.5 months ago one of the eggs hatch.
That is my story, and my male is the oldest geck I have.

I got my first leo just last xmas (im 7 grade). i don't have much to tell, but i like her alot.

Well, it started out as wanting to do something cool with an extra 10 gallon tank. I did some research and ruled out salamanders because their skin is poisonous. On a whim I looked up leopard geckos and became interested. I took time to learn about their care, decided to get one at a reptile show. I was in luck because it was close to the time SC has their only reptile show. I picked out a hatchling from xtreme reptiles, and that's how I got Geico
