you get them? They're gorgeous. Similar size to corns?

Draybar Jan 10, 2004 06:29 PM

>>you get them? They're gorgeous. Similar size to corns?

I got the bairdis from Renegade Reptiles. They look entirely diferent when hatchlings but with each shed more and more color comes in. Bronze yellow and orange.
Bairdis grow about the same size as corns. Maybe a little longer and thinner overall, but basically the same.
They are a bit more active then the corns so you get to see them more often.
They have never tried to bite. They will musk on occasion but as they get older they usually just emit a slight odor as opposed to a messy, smelly discharge.
I really do enjoy them. great snakes. I hope to breed mine in 2005.
I hope everyone is OK with my off-topic posts about these guys but I thought I would post one more picture.
They all look basically the same as hatchlings so you never know what you're going to get. I think that is why they aren't real big in the hobby...YET

I use an old Sony Mavica FD71. The kind that uses a 3 1/2 floppy.
On fine (its max setting) it is only 480 x 640 so I have to take a lot of pics to get a few that look good.

until you have gotten rid of this virus. You apparently picked it up when you clicked on another "link" that was actually a conduit for this virus. THis is how this particular virus works. SO if you see a link that just says link, do not click on it. Report it to the administrators of that site.

I posted a link without a tittle that just shows up as "LINK." It works fine and takes you straight to the page I wanted to. If he has a virus it is one that makes all his copied urls point to the "porn" site. More likely he just didn't copy and paste the url correctly. I doubt we are at risk. I clicked on the link, got taken to a list of other links, didn't click them but my virus software never went off.

>>More likely he just didn't copy and paste the url correctly. I doubt we are at risk.

But I did not intend to post a link of any kind. I posted on otherwebsites (forums) and nothing happened. I guess it is a KS thing. I have read warnings about this a few weeks ago.

Actually it is virus/spyware and we have been having an epidemic of it on the site this past week. All it takes is one person to get it and bring it here and then every one else gets it when they click on the link. You have to run an anti-virus and spyware finder to get rid of it. As you see in the posts above, we remove the links immediately when we find them. We have been removing posting privileges and notifying the posters what to do to get rid of it. Unfortunately some folks have mail from us blocked or they have changed ISPs so please help get the word around.

Before you click on a link, drag your cursor over the link and look at the bottom of the page. It will show you the address. If it even remotely looks like a porn link, it's probably one of these so don't click on it.

Our suggestion is to download anti-spyware software such as adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/. Also make sure you have antivirus sotware and that it is upto date. A good free antivirus progem is AVG http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php.
