When feeding crickets it is good to feed them what they will eat in 15 minutes to half an hour. For mealworms, put them in a dish and they can stay in there as long as you want. I usually put 10 in and then look the next day and see if there is any left. If they are all gone then I give them 15 the next night.
I hope by saying mealworm week and cricket week that you are not just going to feed them once a week. If it is a baby gecko, then it should be fed once a day. If it is an adult gecko then it should be fed 3 times a week.
Good luck. Your gecko should have you trained soon!

First of all, you are never supposed to leave uneaten crickets in the cage, it will stress out your gecko. Second, a healthy baby gecko will usually eat 8-12 appropriately sized prey animals per day.
Here are some things that may be wrong:
* Leaving crix in the cage may be stressing out your gecko so it won't eat
* The prey items may be too large (should not be more than 3/4 the width of your geckos head, though you can feed babies small-medium mealworms). For babies, 3 week old crix are usually about right.
* your temps may be off. You should have a warm side of 88-90° F.
* Your gecko may be ill. Are the stools solid or loose/runny?

If they are still growing geckos, the rule with crix is to feed as many as they will eat in a 15 minute period. With mealies, if the gex are still growing, I'd start with 8-10 mealies per gecko per day and reduce or up that number depending on if all the mealies are gone the next day (if so, add more) or if there are some left (try adding a few less)
