this is my new tremper albino from the white plains show

bigdee Jan 10, 2004 05:38 PM

$20 what do you think? This is a tremper but I thought only the bells had the brown color. Is there a site where I can see pics of all three lines? I seen others that where light in color and some like this. She will be bred to my hypo tang male hope they make some nice babies. The next time my money will have to be right because A&M had some nice, nice adult abino jungles for $40 and I should have gotten it grrrrr.

So that's what you call that morph I'm not too saavy on fancy color morph names. My two look pretty much like that. They're 10-11 months old right now, clutchmates. Maybe this spring I'll get a nice adult male and breed just for one season. I know of a pet store nearby that takes good care of their animals, so any that I don't sell to individuals I could probably sell to them.

Hey that was a good deal in my opinion. SC has only one show i wish we had more But I didn't see any albinos that big for only $20 at the show near me all they had were albino hatchlings that cheap. She is very pretty and I have seen pics of some trempers with brown in them on vms web site they were labeled chocolate albinos

Not too many years ago you would have had to add two zeros to the price - that makes your animal a steal. I'd buy an animal from Alberto for 40 bucks sight unseen ( have you ever seen an A&M gecko that wasn't nice? ).

i was at the A&Mgecko table today at the show..his albinos were gorgeous i bought a male jungle from him for 80 he also had some nice stripe females for 40

(HEY ALBERTO I WAS THE DUDE IN THE BLACK COAT WHO ASKED IF HIS EYES WERE OK!) LOL

Those browns you see are the true colors in regular albinos..... When you see those real bright colored tremper albinos it is because of the way they were incubated.... The hotter you incubate them at the brighter they will come out..... Male albinos are usually brighter with alot less brown than the females unless the breeder uses the "Tremper method" to incubate...... I think it is fine to do this method as long as the breeder makes it well known that he or she is using this method to get brighter animals......
