What do I use as supplements for plants (i.e. sticks)?

herp-noob Jun 05, 2003 10:31 AM

Is this harmful to the animal? Is there a specific type of stick I need to get?

Real sticks that are dead and steralized willl work, but the ones from the pet stores, or TONS of places on line are preferred and are much easier to clean. Also I just answered a similar post down a few posts from this one. Look for the post that says something like "how to seal woden dowls" and read all the follow ups.

Sorry for the confusion but I was referring to nutrient sticks for plants to aide in growth. Any ideas or sites people could direct me towards.

Do you mean like "plant food sticks"?

Yes

I'm not sure of this, but I was just offering a suggestion, would liquid supplements work (ie.. miracle grow) Since you have to water the plants anyway. I would check if this is safe too, but maybe might work.
