drops or the real thing??

Hi to everyone!!

I am new to this site and must say this is the biggest and the most intersting forum i have ever been on (man it is so huge)! but anyway i would just like to know what is your opinion on soler drops as appose to natural uva/uvb lighting for a collared lizard? I know most of you will back up the more natural scource of vit d3 but i have been using soler drops now for more than 8 months or so for my bearded dragon with no ill effects, actualy he seems to have flourished. He has a huge appetite his colours are beutiful and he is very active but i am sure he would have got the same effect from a more natural light scource but what is good for one isnt allways good for the other, so has anyone out there used soler drops with there collards and if so are they thriving? You guys have inspired me to getting one but i only want whats best for him...

Cheers Dazz

I have never used the solar drops. I have heard of them, from other herpers, with mixed opinions.

I use the uvb light, and wish I lived in a warmer climate to actually have them out in sunlight.

Your guy sounds healthy, I hope all goes well using the drops.
When you have time post a pic of your guy we love to see them all, *SMILE*

Stick around and continue to share your ideas, we also like to hash things out. Take care,

Eve
