Yes/No on UVB?

What's the general consensus on UVB lighting? I keep looking for a general consensus, but it seems for every "Yes", there's a "No".

Maybe, depending on what kind of frog, it's not really that important because you don't hear often a frog in captivity dying because of lack of UVB.

Please tell me of a frog wich needs UVB lighting. Frogs dont synthesize UVB into D3, that comes from their supplements and food sources. I could see it being a benefit however.

JMO, i could be wrong.
