Keith Hillson, you said...

In an old post from Dec 4th you said:

"Steve Osborne...possibly has the ugliest Axanthic pictured on his website Ive ever seen."

What makes this snake ugly. Would you mind posting a picture of what you consider a nice axanthic? Not trying to defend Steve or his animals, I'm just curious because I don't think it looks bad at all but maybe I've just never seen a nice adult. Thanks.

If you know Keith, like I don't, you'd probably think he was being sarcastic. It was probably his way of joking and saying he really liked the way that king looked.

LOL no really that snake is ugly. I should put it this way. Its a beautiful animal because its a snake and physically there is nothing wrong with it. Color wise for an Axanthic it would be considered the "bottom of the barrel", the "Last one on a dealers table" , leftovers etc....The Brandon posted is a nice example of a Axanthic.

I would have to agree with Keith on this. Here's one of my male breeders I held back from my first clutch of axanthics......7 years old now. If it looks blue in the pic........that's because it is. I love these snakes. Still my favorites.........and the whites. I would consider this a nice axanthic.
