Help! Sick baby Hermann's

daisy88 Jan 11, 2004 08:32 AM

I'm not sure what to do to make my little baby better. He's only 7 mo. old and I am so worried about him! One of his eyes is glazed over looking and you can hear him breathing kind of like he has a stuffy nose. I immediately took quarentined him but I'm not sure if I should soak him or what to do??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jen

The important thing is to keep it warm (80 to 85 F) and keep it well hydrated. Soak it daily. Offer it some of it's favorite food daily. If that does not help a vet visit is in order.

Ed-
Well it seems like the lil guy is getting better. I soaked him earlier and he ate a bunch of food. Both eyes are open and he seems to be doing ok.

Will keep you up to date on how he is doing and thanks again for the advice!
