Ok here is the deal my mom is freaked out about the idea tthat i am going to be bringing termites into the house, i have had a culture in my back from a trap i made from plans off a site. I need info if there is any chance that they will get out and infest?

The odds are so close to zero that it really does not matter. As long as your containment is secure infestation will not occur.

There is no chance unless you got the queen which I highly doubt you did and by the time they get out of the container and find some moist wood they would be dried out, and if they did make it to moist wood they couldnt reproduice anyways because there wouldnt be males and females.

i keep mine in a 10 gallon tank with several layers of moist papertowel. i have never had one get out. i set up a feeding station in my cage which is nothing more than just a small jelly jar lid. i put the termites in the lid and the lid in the frog tank. as long as the lid is clean and comes from a screw on type jar you should be fine.
