sounds like maybe your Ball is getting ready to shed...
You see all snakes, from tiny ringnecks to reticulated pythons, go blue before they shed. Their color will be very dull, and they will get a bluish film over their eyes. It will stay that way for a couple days then fade away three or four days before they actually shed. While their blue you really need to keep the humidity up. Make sure he has a humid hide and mist him often. After he sheds make sure his eye caps are off by looking at the shed skin, and if there is any skin left on him, like on the end of his tail, get a soft wash cloth, soak it in warm water and let him crawl through till it comes off. I know I answered more then just your question but the first time your snake sheds you sometimes need a little help.
